As Workshop Manager Absolute Motors, you will focus on our day-to-day operations and be responsible for the workshop team, various clients and with all the work processes involved. You oversee our team (15 fte), quality and processes and know how to make complex issues simple and collaborate when necessary. You initiate improvement processes and, if necessary, set up new tooling, manage our workflows and create our operational guidelines for the future. Your role also includes setting up efficient lines of communication between our customers and internally. To make the right decisions, you understand the (high-end) automotive sector, our customers and our team. You ensure that you motivate colleagues and they can excel in their work by leading by example. You will report to the Sales Director.

AS A WORKSHOP MANAGER YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE(S):

• Have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role (e.g. workshop manager, team lead, operations manager within the automotive sector (preferably in high-end exclusive)
• Demonstrated success in working with workshop conductors, mechanic artists, detail artists, wrapping/PPF artists, trainees and closely working with the Sales team
• Have a vision and mission on what daily operation (automotive) should look like in our ever-changing modern world and prepare Absolute Motors for growth (inter)nationally
• Have a mindset with a keen understanding of modern operations excellence within automotive
• Have demonstrable experience in successfully managing multiple teams within the automotive sector
• Be a good communicator to strategically and pragmatically approach opportunities and address issues
• Have an affinity with the latest tools and technologies.
